About Us
Mining Resources Worldwide (FZE) is the international venture of the Indian family-owned ‘Sarla Group’, which has over three decades of rich experience in the global dimensional stone industry. MRW has acquired premium-mining assets in Europe and Africa that span over hundreds of hectares of solid marble deposits.
Our History
Set up the then most modern marble slab processing plant in Rajasthan, India with Italian machinery and technology.
Started exports of finished slabs and tiles from India.
Acquired a green marble quarry in Rajasthan, India.
Added slates, sand stones, lime stones & quartzites to the product line.
First Indian marble company ever to exhibit in Carrara and Verona fairs.
Added granite to the product line.
Spread the sales network to over 40 countries across all continents.
Acquired marble mining concessions in Europe and Africa.
Exited the Indian stone business.
Commercial production commenced in Albania.
